Masscob presents an exclusive SS25 collection in collaboration with the Alttra Foundation, born from the convergence of fashion and contemporary art.
Masscob and Alttra come together to shape a space where both disciplines meet and enrich each other. Masscob’s collections are defined by their subtle sophistication and commitment to local craftsmanship, in harmony with the Alttra Foundation’s mission to promote artistic talent.

On this occasion, Masscob and Alttra are pleased to invite artist Abraham Cruzvillegas (Mexico City, 1968) to explore new horizons beyond conventional limits, establishing a creative dialogue that intertwines Abraham Cruzvillegas’ vision with Masscob’s philosophy, turning each piece into a manifestation of shared inspiration.

From this dialogue emerges a series of unique prints in a color palette true to the artist’s work, featuring neutral tones accented with strokes of pink, green, and blue — applied to delicate silks and natural fabrics developed exclusively for this collaboration.
The garments, inspired by some of the artist’s most recognized works, form a broad proposal designed to offer versatility for both women and men.

Abraham Cruzvillegas’ work is deeply shaped by his surroundings and by the concept of autoconstrucción, inspired by the improvised and collaborative building practices he witnessed during his childhood in Mexico City.
His ever-evolving practice spans various media and explores themes of identity, transformation, and instability. He also uses writing as a means to merge personal history, critique, and fiction within his creative process.

The Alttra Foundation promotes contemporary art in the Balearic Islands by fostering creation, education, and social impact in collaboration with diverse communities, institutions, and industries. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, it supports inclusive and transformative experiences, as well as alternative models of artistic production in response to global challenges.

A percentage of the sales from the Masscob - Alttra collection will be donated to the Alttra Foundation. With this initiative, Masscob aims to go beyond fashion: to actively contribute to positive change in society.
